On November 1, 2023, the China Building Materials Federation organized a seminar on ESG work in the building materials industry. Zhang Dongzhuang, Vice President of CBMF, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wu Qingtao, Special Vice President of CBMF and General Manager of the Guojian Lianxin Certification Center, as well as relevant experts from China Standardization Research Institute, China ESG Research Institute of Capital University of Economics and Trade, China National Building Materials, Conch Group, Beijing Building Materials Group, Huaxin Cement, China Resources Cement, Taiwan Cement and other 30 representatives from backbone listed companies in the building materials industry attended the seminar.

The conference provided a systematic introduction to the research background and work progress of the "Research Report on the Development of ESG in the Chinese Building Materials Industry (2023)" and the "Guidelines for Environmental, Social and Corporate attending experts and representatives focused on the direction and goals of ESG work in the building materials industry for in-depth discussion, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.The two reports will be officially released after being improved in the near future.
