On March 27th, Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation, led a delegation to conduct research at Huikan Nanfang Cement. The purpose was to understand the company's recent production and operations, structural adjustments, as well as efforts in energy conservation, environmental protection, technological innovation, and intelligent upgrading. Chen Guoqing, Executive Vice President of the Building Materials Federation, also participated in the research.

During the discussion, Yan Xiaofeng emphasized that as a subsidiary of a central enterprise, South Cement should continue to take the lead in areas such as ultra-low emission cement production, intelligent manufacturing, technological innovation, and the construction of "Six-Zero factories" proposed by CBMF, setting an example for others. He stressed that quality is the lifeline of enterprises and a red line under the law. Given the severe overcapacity, increasing production and operation pressures, and declining profits in the cement industry, the entire industry should not only implement various measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency but also focus on preventing issues such as substandard products, counterfeiting, and cutting corners.
