On April 12, Yan Xiaofeng, the President of the China Building Materials Federation, met with Sophie Lu, Global Head of Heavy Industry Decarbonisation, Climate Transition of HSBC Group. The two sides exchanged views on promoting low-carbon transformation and green development in the building materials industry. Chen Guoqing, the Executive Vice President of CBMF, also attended the meeting.

The two parties held a working meeting, where they discussed leveraging the respective strengths of CBMF and HSBC Group to further enhance financial support for the green and low-carbon development of the building materials industry. They unanimously agreed to jointly establish a mechanism for communication and cooperation in the areas of information, consulting, finance, and investment, with the aim of jointly promoting green, low-carbon, safe, and high-quality development in the building materials industry.
