On May 22, Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), led a delegation to visit the Zhejiang Building Materials Industry Association for a survey and discussion. The purpose of the visit was to understand the development of building materials enterprises in Zhejiang Province and to exchange experiences on association work. The meeting was attended by Jiang Xiaomeng, President of the Zhejiang Building Materials Industry Association and Chairman of Zhejiang Jianfeng Group Co., Ltd., as well as CBMF Executive Vice President Chen Guoqing.

During the discussion, Yan Xiaofeng noted that while the building materials industry is showing signs of stability and recovery, it still faces challenges. He emphasized that consolidating and developing traditional industries, vigorously developing emerging industries, and accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation of industry enterprises remain the primary tasks for the building materials sector. Yan Xiaofeng encouraged building materials enterprises to leverage their inherent advantages in resource utilization, waste management, and the development of "6-Zero"demonstration factories to achieve more breakthroughs. He urged these enterprises to become functional standard-bearers for cities and to enhance their social value. Amidst economic downturns, he stressed the importance of maintaining high product quality and preventing issues such as the use of substandard cement.

As an industry organization, CBMF will maintain close contact with local associations to jointly fulfill their role as a bridge and link for the industry.

The survey was accompanied by CBMF Chief Economist and Deputy Secretary-General Sun Xingshou, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Development Department Luo Ning, and Deputy Director of the Standards and Quality Department Cao Yuanhui. Also present were Yu Xianqing, former first-level researcher, and Yang Yimin, second-level researcher from the Materials Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology.
