On May 30, Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation, met with Christopher Ashworth, President of the FLSmidth Cement Group. The meeting was also attended by Tove Nielsen, Chief Financial Officer of FLSmidth Cement Group, Cyril Leung, Cluster Head of China, and Liu Jianhua, Vice President of the China Building Materials Federation.

The two parties exchanged views on the development trends of the cement industry, carbon reduction policies and pathways in China and European countries, and promoting green, low-carbon, and sustainable development in the cement industry through international cooperation.

Other attendees included Shen Jinyong, Sales & Marketing Director of FLSmidth China, and Cao Huibao, Deputy Director of the Industry Work Department of the China Building Materials Federation.
