Introduction of CBMF
History and Future Development
China Building Materials Federation was awarded the title of "National Advanced Social Organization" by Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. CBMF currently has more than 1,500 members, composed of various enterprises and institutions engaged in building materials manufacturing, research and development, circulation, education, planning, standards, testing, certification , exhibition, trade, media, construction, and other fields. CBMF also supervises 9 national building materials institutions, leads 23 national building materials industry associations and comprehensive associations/societies, and connects with 26 provincial and municipal building materials industry associations.
Under the leadership of the Social Work Department of the CPC Central Committee,CBMF takes "serving the members, serving the industry, serving the nation, and serving the society" as its mission and builds bonds between the government, industry and enterprises. With the goal of "superior products and advanced industry, for the benefit of mankind", we assists the industry and enterprises to achieve ecologization, digitalization, intellectualization, internationalization and modernization, and realize green, low carbon, safe and high-quality development.
Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the administration agency of China's building materials industry has undergone several reforms and changes, from the Ministry of Building Materials Industry, to the State Administration Bureau of Building Materials, and in 2001 China Building Materials Federation (CBMF) was reformed and reorganized after the disbandment of the State Administration Bureau of Building Materials. Since then, CBMF has become the only national comprehensive organization in China's building materials industry.

The logo overall symbolizes the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and runs through the new development goal of building materials industry, which is "superior products and advanced industry, for the benefit of mankind". The logo also implies the green and low-carbon development direction of building materials industry.

The letters "CB" constitute the shape of a mountain, presenting the significant position of building materials industry as important basic materials of national economic construction and as the "cornerstone of a great nation".

The lying "B" is shaped like a bridge, symbolizing China Building Materials Federation's function of being a "bridge and link" between the government and enterprises.

The development goal of China's building materials industry
The development goal of the building materials industry is "Superior products and advanced industry, for the benefit of mankind". "Superior products and advanced industry" is the requirement of industry development, and "for the benefit of mankind" is the ultimate goal.
Advanced industry
It defines the relationship between the development of the building materials industry and five dimensions,which are environment, employees, society, country, and era. “Advanced industry “refers to the building materials industry being environmentally friendly, employee satisfied, socially trusted, nationally needed, and keeping up with the times.
Superior products
It defines the characteristics that building material products need to possess in five aspects: technology, quality, environmental protection, market, and civilization. Superior products refers to the building material products should be synchronized with technological iteration, aligned with standard improvement, compatible with the ecological environment, in line with market demand, and accompanied by civilized development.
For the benefit of mankind
It defines the ultimate goal of the development of the building materials industry, reflects the values of the building materials industry, and establishes the global positioning of China's building materials industry to serve both domestic and foreign markets and benefit humanity.
