On November 20, the 2024 Building Materials Industry International Cooperation and Development Forum, hosted by the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), organized by China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Co., Ltd., and co-organized by China National Brand Network and the U.S.-based ADU Corporation, was successfully convened in Shenzhen.
With the theme of "Openness, Cooperation, Sharing, and Mutual Benefit," the forum aimed to explore strengthened collaboration, promote exchanges, and research cooperative models for the integration, connectivity, and mutual advancement of the domestic and international building materials industries in a new era. The event sought to provide fresh impetus for the industry’s development.
Distinguished attendees included Yan Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CBMF; Chen Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President; Sun Xingshou, Standing Committee Member and Vice President; Liu Pingjun, President of the China Council for Brand Development; Wang Xiangming, Chairman of China Resources Group; Lan Yi, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group; and Ji Yourong, Chairman of the Board of China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. Representatives from domestic and international partners, as well as related ecosystem enterprises, also attended, totaling more than 200 participants. The forum was moderated by Jing Shiqing, President of China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Co., Ltd.
In his opening remarks, President Yan Xiaofeng emphasized that enhancing international exchange and cooperation is a key driver of global economic prosperity and human progress. He highlighted the CBMF's commitment to international collaboration in the building materials industry, guided by the development goals of "Benefiting Enterprises and People, Serving Humanity." CBMF strives to deliver green, low-carbon, healthy, safe, and high-quality building materials to meet societal and human needs. He encouraged China Resources Building Materials Technology to accelerate the development of a comprehensive industrial ecosystem platform tailored to China’s building materials industry, leveraging it to promote the industry's internationalization. He also invited all participants to actively engage in the platform, jointly fostering innovative international cooperation models for the building materials sector. This, he stated, would contribute to enhancing the global building materials value chain, fostering international industry collaboration, and better serving humanity.
During the forum, Sun Xingshou presented a report on the development of the building materials industry. Wu Wei, President of China National Brand Network, shared insights on brand cluster development, while Ouyang Gulin, CEO of ADU Corporation, delivered a presentation on the U.S. building materials market and international business service solutions. Jiang Muchuan, Vice President of China Resources Building Materials Technology, highlighted international cooperation strategies for the industry.
The event also featured a strategic cooperation signing ceremony between China Resources Building Materials Technology and several ecosystem enterprises in the building materials sector.
