On September 15, Mr. Liu Jianhua, Vice President of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), met with Mr. Scott Schell, Program Strategistof the Global Industry Hub (GIH), and Ms. Chen Boping, Regional Director for East Asia of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, at the CBMF.

The three parties held in-depth discussions on topics including green and low-carbon technologies in the building materials sector, standard-setting, the promotion and application of low-carbon building materials, and carbon market development. Particular attention was given to advancing low-carbon classification of concrete products, promoting green procurement, and reducing embodied carbon in construction. All sides expressed strong willingness to actively strengthen cooperation in the field of green and low-carbon development of the building materials industry.
