From December 4 to 6, the “Good House” Construction and Building Materials Innovation Application Exhibition was held at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center in Yinzhou District, Ningbo, under the guidance of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF). On December 4, Yan Xiaofeng, President of CBMF, Chen Guoqing, Executive Vice President, Zhang Dongzhuang, Vice President, Zhang Guangpei, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Liu Jianhua, Vice President of CBMF, visited the exhibition for research and inspection; Secretary-General Shang Yanqing attended the opening ceremony. On December 5, Sun Xingshou, Vice President of CBMF, led all CBMF staff to visit the exhibition.

Yan Xiaofeng and his delegation visited the Policy Display Area, Digital Experience Zone, Enterprise Display Area, and Outdoor Model House Area. They gained a detailed understanding of the exhibiting enterprises and products, and expressed approval of Ningbo’s efforts in promoting the transformation and upgrading of the building materials industry, innovating building material product applications, and advancing the construction of “Good Houses.”

Shang Yanqing delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the “Good House” Construction and Building Materials Innovation Application Exhibition and participated in the launch ceremony. During the opening ceremony, the “Good House” Technology Industry Alliance was also established. The China Building Materials Federation, the China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., the Smart Low-Carbon Building Engineering Technology Innovation Center Ningbo Research Center, and the Tmall Design National Prefabricated Urban Operation Center will work together to build a platform for industry-academia-research collaboration, breaking down barriers along the entire value chain, and providing technical, resource, and policy support services to effectively promote the application of high-quality building materials and the construction of “Good Houses.” Shang Yanqing attended the alliance establishment ceremony.

Sun Xingshou Leads CBMF Staff to Visit the Exhibition

The “Good House” Construction and Building Materials Innovation Application Exhibition focused on the core of “Good House” construction, adhering to the development concept of balancing “new construction and renovation,” and provided a comprehensive solution for upgrading housing quality. The exhibition carefully set up five major sections: Policy Display, Digital Experience, Enterprise Display, Roadshow, and Outdoor Model House. Using AR projections, VR experiences, and digital sandboxes, it vividly presented the effects of “Good House” construction. The exhibition gathered nearly 20 leading industry enterprises, including Tmall Home, and accurately connected the upgraded housing needs of residents, showcasing high-quality products and application solutions. The outdoor model houses, including “RV-house integration” and “whole-house smart” solutions, presented “visible, tangible, and experiential” representations of “Good Houses” to the audience.
