On January 28, Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), met with Mr. Abdulla Alnoaimi, Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Beijing, and his delegation. Liu Jianhua, Executive Vice President of CBMF, also attended the meeting.

Yan Xiaofeng welcomed Mr. Alnoaimi and his delegation and briefed them on the overall development of China’s building materials industry, particularly its international engagement and green, low-carbon transformation. He noted that the industry is actively advancing the development of “Six-Zero Factories,” aiming to provide the global market with greener, lower-carbon and more environmentally friendly high-quality building materials products and solutions.

Mr. Alnoaimi introduced the UAE’s progress and demand in infrastructure development, green buildings, and building materials, and expressed his welcome for Chinese building materials enterprises to visit the UAE for exchanges and to explore deeper cooperation.

Both sides agreed to take this meeting as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and coordination, promote mutual visits among building materials enterprises, and deepen cooperation in areas such as green building materials.

Dong Weichao, Secretary of the Commercial Section of the UAE Embassy in Beijing, Shen Yulu, Director of the International Cooperation Department of CBMF, and Zhang Hanwen, Assistant Director, also participated in the meeting.
