On 5 March, Yan Xiaofeng, Party Secretary and President of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), met with a visiting delegation led by Yin Zhisong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. Also attending the meeting were Chen Guoqing, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of CBMF; Liu Jianhua, Member of the Party Standing Committee and Vice President of CBMF; Liu Renyue, Executive Vice President of Sinoma International; He Xiaolong, Vice President; and Sui Tongbo, Executive Deputy Director of the company’s Science and Technology Committee.
Yan Xiaofeng fully affirmed the outstanding achievements made by Sinoma International under the new circumstances in areas such as international development, technological innovation, and overseas brand building. He emphasized that Sinoma International is a “pioneer” in the internationalization of the building materials industry, and should actively study global technological development trends and the transformation experiences of multinational corporations, further optimize its global layout, and advance cross-sector industrial deployment. He also noted that the company should conduct sound assessments of the international geopolitical landscape, seize development opportunities, and effectively prevent and control risks.
Yan expressed his hope that Sinoma International would actively promote and practice the “Six-Zero” Factory concept of the building materials industry during its international expansion, strengthen research and development in green and low-carbon as well as digital and intelligent technologies, and continuously enhance its brand influence. Based on the broader objective of serving the industry’s “going global” strategy, he encouraged the company to bring together the strength of building materials enterprises expanding overseas and to provide systematic services for other enterprises going global, including coordination assistance, professional consulting, and risk warning.
Yin Zhisong expressed his gratitude for the long-standing support and assistance provided by the Federation. He introduced in detail the latest progress and achievements of Sinoma International in its internationalization strategy and technological innovation. He noted that the company is actively fulfilling its role as a “vanguard” in China National Building Material Group’s “Overseas Re-creation” strategy, accelerating its strategic transformation from a single engineering contractor into a cross-sector, full-industry-chain, and full-lifecycle service provider. He expressed hope that the Federation would continue to provide guidance and support in areas such as technological innovation, international cooperation, and the development of standards systems.
