On July 16, Wu Qingtao, Party Committee Secretary and President of the China Building Materials Federation, met with a delegation led by Kang Jianhong, Party Branch Secretary of the Shanxi Building Materials Industry Association. Sun Xingshou, Standing Committee Member of the Federation's Party Committee, Resident Vice President and Secretary-General; Chang Weidong, President of the Shanxi Building Materials Industry Association; and Wang Jishou, Executive Vice President of the association, attended the meeting.

Wu Qingtao introduced the Federation's recent deployments and progress in advancing capacity governance in the cement industry, promoting the digital transformation of the building materials sector, and implementing the special initiative of "Adapting Quality Materials to Good Housing." He expressed his hope that the Shanxi Building Materials Industry Association would give full play to local resource advantages, strengthen upstream and downstream synergy across the industrial chain, and contribute practical achievements with distinct Shanxi characteristics to the high-quality development of the building materials industry.

Kang Jianhong expressed her gratitude to the Federation for its long-standing care and guidance toward Shanxi's building materials industry, and introduced the operational status of the sector as well as the association's key work in driving regional industrial transformation and upgrading.

Both sides exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation, establishing a normalized communication mechanism, and joint efforts to drive the high-quality development of the building materials industry.
