In his speech, Wu Qingtao pointed out that brands represent a core element of enterprise competitiveness and serve as vital support for high-quality national economic development. Comprehensively promoting brand building and enhancing the international competitiveness of outstanding enterprises are essential requirements for shifting the industry from scale-driven growth to quality-driven efficiency, as well as an inevitable choice for achieving high-quality development. He emphasized that the Standards and Quality Department should collaborate closely with the Quality Certification Management Center to advance platform construction in four key areas: First, solidify foundations by building an industry brand evaluation system to provide scientific, standardized, and authoritative support. Second, aim for top-tier excellence by leveraging artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to create a benchmark brand platform that offers valuable, actionable, and sustainable services. Third, ensure overall coordination to guarantee efficient, orderly project execution and build a reliable, high-quality initiative. Fourth, focus on practical results to continuously unleash platform service capacity, staying aligned with industry trends and corporate needs to enhance usability and influence.

At the meeting, the Quality Certification Management Center reported on the progress of project construction, while contractor, supervision, and auditing units presented their respective work plans. Representatives from the Standards and Quality Department reported on the drafting progress of the group standard Evaluation of Brand Competitiveness in Building Materials Industry, followed by in-depth discussions among experts and industry delegates. The development of this standard will establish a scientific, unified index system for brand evaluation and provide technical support for the platform's construction.

Moving forward, the China Building Materials Federation will strictly adhere to the project management requirements of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), organizing relevant parties to solidly advance platform construction, systematically plan brand cultivation, and contribute further to the high-quality development of the industry.
