On July 28, Wu Qingtao, Party Committee Secretary and President of the China Building Materials Federation, led a delegation to Conch Group for a discussion and exchange with Yang Jun, Vice President of the Federation and Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Conch Group, and visited the Conch Group Exhibition Hall. Liu Jianhua, Standing Committee Member of the Federation's Party Committee and Resident Vice President; Sun Xingshou, Standing Committee Member of the Federation's Party Committee, Resident Vice President and Secretary-General; and Wu Tiejun, Deputy General Manager of Conch Cement, attended the symposium.

The two sides first reviewed the collaborative content and achievements made between the Federation and Conch Group in recent years. They exchanged in-depth views on advancing capacity governance, and reached a consensus on further cooperation regarding industry transformation and upgrading, green and low-carbon development, AI empowerment, technological innovation, and the initiative of "Adapting Quality Materials to Good Housing."

Wu Qingtao expressed his gratitude to Conch Group, as an industry leader, for its long-standing support for the Federation's work and commended its positive role. He introduced the work strategy and focus established by the Federation's 7th Council. He expressed his hope that Conch Group would continue to deepen capacity governance in the cement industry, cultivate technological innovation, advance the construction of "Zero-Carbon Factories," enhance standards and product quality, explore new models for international green supply chain cooperation, promote upstream-downstream integration and green procurement, and facilitate the deep integration of "AI + Building Materials," thereby contributing more Conch wisdom to the high-quality development of the industry.

Yang Jun welcomed Wu Qingtao and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the Federation's long-standing care and guidance toward Conch Group. He stated that Conch Group will actively fulfill its responsibility as an industry leader to maintain a healthy and orderly market environment, actively participate in capacity governance based on approved capacity, promote mergers and acquisitions, accelerate the cultivation of emerging industries to extend across the full industrial chain, and provide more sustainable development solutions for the building materials industry.
