On November 17, Yan Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Building Materials Federation (CBMF), met with Tian Haikui, Chairman of Xinfeng Group, and Hao Guiru, Party Secretary of the Group. Chen Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the CBMF Party Committee and Executive Vice President, attended the meeting.

Yan Xiaofeng provided an analysis of the current development landscape and trends of the building materials industry. He also introduced CBMF’s key initiatives aimed at promoting high-quality development, including improving product quality, strengthening capacity governance, and advancing the “Good Materials for Good Houses” initiative. He acknowledged the achievements of Xinfeng Group—one of CBMF’s Vice President Member Units—in areas such as cement kiln co-processing, the utilization of industrial solid waste including coal gangue, and the Group’s overseas expansion efforts. He expressed hope that Xinfeng Group will continue to intensify efforts in green and low-carbon development, comprehensive resource utilization, and the promotion and application of new products. He encouraged the company to explore new development paths and differentiated strategies through brand building, product quality traceability, and improved product application guidance, thereby advancing high-quality development.

Tian Haikui expressed appreciation for CBMF’s guidance and support in standards, science and technology, certification, and evaluation. He introduced the Group’s progress in cement kiln co-processing of municipal solid waste, the development of decarbonized porcelain-like bricks from coal gangue, and overseas investment projects. He stated that Xinfeng Group will continue to contribute its expertise and strength to the green and low-carbon transition of the cement industry and to the global expansion of Chinese building materials enterprises under the leadership of CBMF.

The meeting was also attended by Feng Shuai, Director of the Industry Department; Luo Ning, Director of the Science and Technology Development Department; and Cao Yunhui, Director of the Standards and Quality Department of CBMF; as well as Guo Jianqiang, Deputy General Manager of R&D, and Zhang Gang, General Manager of Marketing at Xinfeng Group.
