On August 24, Wu Qingtao, Party Secretary and President of China Building Materials Federation, led a delegation to Shanghai Building Materials Group for work exchanges, and held a discussion with Yin Jun, Vice President of the Federation, Party Secretary, and President of Shanghai Building Materials Group. Liu Jianhua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Resident Vice President of the Federation, Sun Xingshou, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Resident Vice President, and Secretary-General of the Federation, as well as Chen Zonglai, Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Building Materials Group, and Lu Taiqiang, Vice President, attended the symposium. The two sides exchanged in-depth opinions and suggestions on promoting the high-quality development of the building materials industry, and reached a consensus on promoting green building materials, inorganic non-metallic new materials, consumption upgrading, and other aspects.

Wu Qingtao stated that Shanghai Building Materials Group shares deep roots with the Federation, has long maintained close communication and cooperation, and actively participates in and supports the Federation's work. He introduced the Federation's work in promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, cultivating inorganic non-metallic new materials, advancing the adaptation of good materials to good housing, and deepening the deployment of green building materials to rural areas. He expressed hope that the Group would give full play to its regional advantages, focus on its main business, and actively explore innovative paths. The Federation will fully support and cooperate with the Group to explore Shanghai's new development models, service models, and industrial transformation paths for building materials, further deepen cooperation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the building materials industry.

Yin Jun welcomed the visit of Wu Qingtao and his delegation.
